Polythene DPM
Various gauges of polythene are used as a damp-proofing membrane in concrete ground floors to
prevent upward movement of water.
For best recommended moisture penetration prevention Double Sided Bitumen or Butyl Tape should be used between DPM laps with Single Sided PVC Tape covering the lap join.
