Polymeric Coated Dowel Bars

For high specification contracts, we also supply polymeric coated or stainless steel dowel bars.

Polymeric coating is a factory applied flexible coating giving excellent corrosion resistance in accordance with British standard requirements.

The dowel bars and coating comply with the Specification for Highways Works Volume 1, series 1000, clause 1011 for dowel bars and clause 1012 for tie bar.

Primarily used on highway and rail contracts to extend the design life of joints.
